Layla Martin

Layla Martin has a diverse work experience in data and machine learning engineering. Layla is currently serving as the Director of Data and Machine Learning Engineering at Arrive Logistics since July 2022. Previously, Layla worked as a Senior Staff Engineer, Data at Arrive Logistics from January 2021 to August 2022. Layla has also worked as a Senior Data Engineer, Artificial Intelligence at Shiseido from August 2020 to January 2021. Before that, they held the position of Senior Data Engineer, Data Platform at Under Armour from December 2017 to August 2020. Layla has also worked as a Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Under Armour from January 2017 to December 2017 and from August 2015 to January 2017, respectively. Layla began their career as a Data Science Intern at MyFitnessPal from February 2015 to August 2015 and as a Data Science Intern at the University of San Francisco from October 2014 to January 2015. Layla has additional experience as a Summer Youth Soccer Coach at the University of San Francisco Women's Soccer from 2010 to 2014.

Layla Martin earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with Honors in Mathematics from the University of San Francisco in 2014. Layla later obtained a Master of Science in Analytics (MSAN) degree from the same university in 2015. Prior to their university education, Layla attended University High School from 2006 to 2010.
