Nick Haining is a seasoned professional in the field of oncology and immunology, currently serving as a Venture Partner at F-Prime Capital since April 2024 and as Chief Scientific Officer and Co-Founder at ArsenalBio since January 2019. Prior experience includes a role as VP of Discovery Oncology and Immunology at Merck from January 2019 to July 2021, as well as academic positions at Harvard Medical School, where Haining was an Associate and Assistant Professor of Pediatrics from 2007 to December 2018. Additionally, Haining held an Associate Member position at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, worked as a Staff Physician at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and served as an Assistant in Medicine at Children's Hospital Boston, all from 1999 to December 2018. Early career work included a post-doctoral fellowship at MIT from 1997 to 1999. Haining's educational background includes a B.M., B.Ch. and a BA in Physiologic Sciences from the University of Oxford, completed between 1986 and 1992.
