Peter Hunter

Since founding Artemis in 2009, Peter has built a culture within the firm that recognizes the awesome responsibility of business ownership. Likewise, he has developed a company-wide passion for continued personal and technical innovation and the stewardship of businesses that have been changing the world for decades. As a Managing Partner, Peter’s responsibilities include the successful realization of fund-over-fund growth through capital raising, the alignment of the team to the firm’s core values, and leveraging decades of Industrial Tech experience in the pursuit of Artemis’ ambitious vision.

Before founding Artemis, Peter led multiple industry-leading organizations. With experience as an Industrial Tech CEO, CFO, and COO spanning three decades, Peter brings a differentiated and diverse skillset that spans multiple industries and technologies. Peter’s knowledge of the macroeconomic market dynamics coupled with his lower middle market operational expertise drove him to start Artemis. Prior to his various executive level positions, Peter started his career as a Certified Public Accountant at Deloitte & Touche after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Juris Doctor in Corporate Law from Suffolk University.
