Raidene Carter

Raidene Carter is an accomplished arts professional currently serving as Artistic Director and Co-CEO at Artsadmin since January 2024. Previously, Carter held the position of Creative Director at Birmingham Festival 23 CIC from February to December 2023, and served as Executive Producer for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games from February 2020 to December 2022. Carter's experience includes roles as Executive Director and Joint CEO at Theatre Centre, where shared CEO responsibilities were undertaken, and Director of Programming at Wac Arts. Additional positions include Head of Creative Programmes at The Albany Theatre and Associate Producer at both Birmingham Repertory Theatre and The Albany Theatre. Carter's career began as Education Associate at Talawa Theatre Company. Educational credentials include a B.A. (Hons) in Drama and Education from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.
