Marc Martinez, PMP, ITIL, CSM, CSPO

Marc Martinez is a highly experienced and qualified professional with expertise in project management and information technology. Marc holds a PhD degree along with certifications in PMP, ITIL, CSM, and CSPO. Marc has worked in various roles and positions throughout their career.

From 2019 to present, Marc has been serving as a Project Manager/Principal at Ascella Technologies, Inc. Prior to that, they worked as a Program Manager at Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies from 2017 onwards.

In 2016, Marc held the position of Program Manager at ITCON Services, where they managed all USDA Contracts/Task Orders at USDA Food and Nutrition Service (FNS). Before that, they served as a Program Manager at Salient Federal Solutions from 2015 to 2016.

From 2007 to 2015, Marc worked at CACI International Inc (Formerly Delta Solutions) as a Program Manager. Their responsibilities involved task assignments, contract administration, staffing, project scheduling/planning, risk assessment, and mitigation. Marc was also responsible for architecture, application maintenance, and software development methodology.

Earlier in their career, Marc worked as a Technical Project Manager at ActioNet, Inc. from 2005 to 2007. Marc was responsible for staff scheduling, project planning, risk assessment, and coordination. Marc also held development and management roles at Optimal Solutions and Technologies, INDUS Corporation, MELE Associates, and CTIA.

Throughout their career, Marc has demonstrated strong leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of various technologies such as ColdFusion, Java/J2EE, Oracle, MS SQL Server, and Sybase. Marc has successfully managed projects and programs in the government and private sectors, working on a wide range of applications and systems.

Marc Martinez PhD, PMP, ITIL, CSM, CSPO has a strong education background in Information Technology. Marc obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD degree in Information Technology from Capella University from 2019 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed their M.S. degree in Information Technology Management from Capella University from 2004 to 2006. Marc also holds a B.S. degree in Information Technology from Capella University from 2002 to 2004.

In addition to their academic achievements, Marc Martinez has obtained several certifications. Marc is a Certified Scrum Master, which they earned from the Scrum Alliance in August 2018. Marc is also a Project Management Professional (PMP), certified by PMI.org in December 2008.

Before pursuing their career in Information Technology, Marc Martinez studied Biology at San Diego State University from 1984 to 1990, though it is unclear if they obtained a degree in the field.
