Jose Parra

Jose Parra is a Senior Manufacturing Associate at Ascendia, with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry since July 2020, focusing on production oversight, process improvement, and compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Previous roles include Manufacturing Associate II and Manufacturing Associate in Pharmaceutical R&D, where responsibilities involved developing cleaning and sterilization protocols and executing formulation research and development manufacturing. Prior to Ascendia, Jose worked as a Pharmaceutical Compounder at Renaissance Lakewood, LLC, managing equipment operations and maintaining accurate records. Jose is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Engineering at the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Rowan University and an Associate of Science in Science from Ocean County College.
