Kimberly Ellison

Kimberly Ellison is an accomplished healthcare professional currently serving as the Director of Clinical Operations for the Breast Program at Ascension since May 2016, in addition to working as a Nurse Practitioner with the Seton Surgical Group. Kimberly has also taken on the role of Board Member at Housing Support Services Alliance since November 2023, focusing on preventing evictions in Austin, Texas. Previous experience includes roles as a Staff Nurse in the Cardio-Thoracic ICU and Oncology/Hematology at University of Chicago Medicine, as well as a Volunteer with the Peace Corps, where Kimberly educated nursing students in human anatomy and physiology. Additional nursing roles include charge nurse duties at St. David’s South Austin Hospital and HIV/AIDS education at Travis County Correctional Facility. Kimberly holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice in Adult/Gerontology from Rush University, a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor's Degree in Government with Business Foundations from The University of Texas.
