Elaine Zhi

Elaine Zhi has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Elaine started their career as an Intern at Bryce Holder CPA PA in 2006. Elaine then worked as a Graduate Assistant at Appalachian State University from 2004 to 2006. After that, they joined Calibre CPA Group PLLC as an Audit Senior, CPA from 2007 to 2010. Elaine then worked at Price Waterhouse Coopers as an Experienced Associate 3 from 2010 to 2011.

In 2011, they joined OriGene Technologies, Inc as a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis and later became an Accounting Manager from 2014 to 2017. During their time at OriGene, they led their team through various transformations and gained expertise in financial instruments globally.

Elaine then moved to Tower Bridge International Group in 2017 as a Senior Finance Manager. There, they built and trained the entire US Finance department and implemented various initiatives like setting up a PO system, finance policies, ERP system, and more.

Currently, they are working at Ascentage Pharma, where they started as an Associate Director, Finance in 2019 and later became the Director of Finance in 2020. In their current role, Elaine established the US finance function, developed strong partnerships, provided financial analysis to senior management, oversaw budgeting and implementation, evaluated financial systems, and led new systems and process implementations.

Elaine Zhi obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Logic from Nankai University. Following that, they pursued further education and completed their Master of Science degree in Accounting from Appalachian State University. In addition to their formal education, they also hold a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the states of NC and VA.
