Sylvia Buxcey Aka Sawkins

Sylvia Buxcey, also known as Sawkins, has a strong background in data governance and marketing database management. Sylvia most recently worked as a Data Governance Consultant at NewWave DataFrame Ltd in 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Data Governance Director at Ascential. Sylvia was also self-employed as a Data Governance Consultant from 2019 to 2020. Before becoming self-employed, they took some time off after leaving Sky, where they worked as the Group Data Governance Manager for eight years. Prior to Sky, Sylvia was a Principal Data Consultant at Orange pcs and Everything Everywhere. Sylvia started their career as a Marketing Database Manager at Centrica.

Sylvia Buxcey, also known as Sawkins, attended Riversmead from 1968 to 1973. During their time there, they studied a range of subjects including English, Maths, Biology, Commerce, Domestic Science, History, French, Physics, and Chemistry. In addition to their academic education, Sylvia obtained certifications in Zumba from the Zumba Instructor Network in 2019, SAS Di Studio from SAS in 2016, SAS Data Flux from SAS in 2015, and SAS Admin from the International Institute of SAS Training and Research.
