Norman Franke

Norman Franke has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Norman began their career as a Student Programmer at Carnegie Mellon University in 1989, where they focused on data communications and special projects. After completing their role at CMU, they joined the Department of Homeland Security in 2003 as a S&T Liaison, where they acted as a technical liaison between the Science and Technology Directorate and IAIP. In 1992, Franke joined Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where they served as a Group Leader for IONA in NAIC for over a decade. In this role, they supervised a team of 10-15 employees and managed several projects using Java, C/C++, and Oracle. Most recently, Franke has been working at ASD - Answering Service for Directors since 2006 as the Chief Software Architect. Norman has been responsible for architecting the client web access and overseeing online voice mail, fax, obituary information, and billing services. Throughout their career, Franke has demonstrated strong leadership skills and technical expertise across various industries.

Norman Franke completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, from 1988 to 1992. Norman then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Stanford University, from 1993 to 1996.
