James Hemsley has extensive work experience in the legal field. James currently serves as Partner and Head of Property Litigation at Ashfords LLP since October 2022. James previously held the position of Partner at the same company from September 2018. Prior to joining Ashfords LLP, they worked as a Senior Associate at the company starting from February 2017.
In addition to their legal roles, James also served as an External Trustee at the University of Plymouth Students' Union starting from May 2017.
Before joining Ashfords LLP, James worked at Bond Dickinson LLP as a Managing Associate from July 2001 until January 2017.
James Hemsley began their education by attending Sir James Smiths in Camelford, Cornwall from 1986 to 1992. The specific degree and field of study during this time period are unknown. James then went on to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Historical Studies at Goldsmiths, University of London from 1993 to 1996. Following that, they attended the University of Exeter from 1999 to 2001, where they studied Law and obtained a GDL & LPC degree.
