Scott Findlay has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Scott most recently worked as a Project Engineer at Ashtead Technology starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they were a Field Engineer at Scientific Drilling from June 2019 to November 2021. From April 2017 to June 2019, they served as a Technical Supervisor at Remote Measurement Systems Limited. Before that, they worked at Target Well Control Ltd. as an MWD Field Engineer / Seconded R&D Turbine Generator Project from January 2012 to April 2017 and as a Senior Electronic Technician from June 2009 to December 2011. Scott also spent a few years at Halliburton as a Senior MWD Technician from December 2006 to December 2008. Scott started their career at Baker Hughes, where they completed a Mechatronics Apprenticeship and worked as a Senior Mechatronics Technician from August 1999 to December 2006.

Scott Findlay began their education at North East Scotland College in 1997, where they completed an ONC in Electrical, Electronic & Mechanical Engineering from 1997 to 1999. Scott continued their studies at the same institution and obtained an HNC in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1999 to 2002. Lastly, Scott completed their education at North East Scotland College with an SVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance, which they attained from 1999 to 2003.
