Socrates Chouridis

Socrates Chouridis has a diverse work experience in various roles within the field of technology. Socrates started their career in 2002 as an IT & HelpDesk Trainee at PPC S.A. In 2004, they worked as an Internet Hall Supervisor at Athens 2004 – O.A.E.D. Following this, they worked at devinet (Hellas) as a Founder from 2011 to 2013. From 2012 to 2014, they were an Entrepreneur at Start yoging - Vrilissia.

Chouridis then transitioned into the role of a Datacenter/Network Engineer at Sparkle Greece from 2008 to 2019. This was followed by their role as a DevOps Engineer at Agile Actors from 2019 to 2020, where they supported data science and software development teams while managing cloud and local infrastructure.

Socrates then worked as a Sr. Cloud Engineer at AsianLogic from 2020 to 2023. In this role, they developed cloud-native applications, built automation frameworks, and developed GitOps CI/CD pipelines.

Currently, Chouridis is working as a DevOps Engineer at Asimov since 2023. In this role, they are a part of the Cloud Platform team and focuses on workflow improvement, automation, and developer experience. Socrates equips other teams with necessary tools and knowledge to enable faster and more reliable deliveries, allowing them autonomy over the infrastructure.

Socrates Chouridis completed their education history as follows:

From 2006 to 2009, they attended the University of Piraeus, where they obtained a Master's degree in Advanced Information Systems.

Prior to that, from 1999 to 2004, they studied Applied Mathematics at the University of Crete and earned a degree with a grade of 6.6.

- In 2021, they obtained the certifications of "Administering BIG-IP" and "Configuring BIG-IP Local Traffic Manager" from F5.
