Malcolm Monroe has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Malcolm co-founded 10ure in 2020 and currently holds the position of Co-Founder. In 2021, they joined Quantgene as a Principal Software Engineer. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2021, they worked at NTWRK as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer. Malcolm also gained experience as a Software Engineer at Albert from 2018 to 2019. Before entering the software engineering field, Malcolm worked as a Software Engineering Consultant and Software Engineer at Restless Bandit from 2016 to 2018. In 2015, they worked at Lucid Design Group as a Software Integration Engineer, where they developed software integrations and facilitated communication between customers and 3rd party development teams. From 2014 to 2015, they served as a Programmer/Engineer at Air Systems, focusing on developing software to decrease commercial building energy use. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2014, they worked as a System Application Engineer/Programmer at Schneider Electric, specializing in developing software for clean room environments. Malcolm's career started in 2010 when they worked as a First Engineer (Contracted) at the University of Hawaii, where they were responsible for the main engine generator sets and overall plant operation on a research vessel. Malcolm also gained experience as a Service Engineer (Contracted) at Rolls-Royce, performing repairs and maintenance abroad and in the Port of Los Angeles. Overall, Malcolm Monroe has a strong background in software engineering and has also worked in various other engineering roles in different industries.

Malcolm Monroe obtained their Bachelor's of Science Degree in Marine Engineering Technology from the California State University Maritime Academy, which they attended from 2004 to 2009. Malcolm pursued further education at California State University, Long Beach, where they earned their MSEE degree in Power from 2011 to 2013.
