Torin Kørner

Torin Kørner has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Torin is currently the Co-founder and daglig leder (daily manager) at Burgerheim, a position they have held since November 2021. Prior to this, they were also a Co-founder and daglig leder in Burgerheim at Askeladden & Co starting from January 2021.

Before their involvement in the food industry, Torin worked at PwC Norway, where they held the positions of Senior Associate from October 2020 to January 2021 and Consultant Associate from August 2018 to September 2020.

In addition to their professional career, Torin also gained valuable experience as the General Manager of Campus Studentsamfunn - Tappetårnet, a student organization. Torin managed the organization while pursuing full-time studies, overseeing financial management, marketing, recruitment, event planning, and daily operations.

Prior to their managerial role, Torin worked as a part-time Customer Relations Associate at IKEA Group, where they were responsible for problem-solving and customer support.

Torin also has experience from summer internships and sales and marketing roles. Torin completed a summer internship at Framo, focusing on subsea pump assembly, in 2014 and worked as a Sales and Marketing Representative at Swaa AS from March 2012 to February 2013.

Torin Kørner began their education in 2012 at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. However, they discontinued this field of study and later enrolled again at the same university in 2013. This time, Torin focused on Subsea Technology and successfully completed their Bachelor of Science degree in 2016.

In 2015, they participated in an exchange semester at San Diego State University, where they continued to study Subsea Technology. Torin then pursued further education at the University of Stavanger, where they enrolled in a Master of Science program in Industrial Economics from 2016 to 2018.
