Ashutosh Maurya

Ashutosh Maurya has a wealth of experience in the field of IT and data analytics. Ashutosh began their career as a Project Assistant at the National Institute of Science Technology & Development Studies in 2003 before moving on to roles such as Research Associate at the Indian Council of Agriculture Research and the Indian Agriculture Statistics Research Institute.

In 2005, Ashutosh joined the Bank of Maharashtra as a Deputy Manager in Agriculture before transitioning to the Punjab National Bank as a Manager in IT. At PNB, they played a vital role in implementing a large-scale Banking Enterprisewise Data Warehouse project and the rollout of the Core Banking Solution Finacle.

From 2011 to 2019, Ashutosh worked at the National Informatics Center, serving as a Senior System Analyst and later as a Principal Systems Analyst. During this time, they developed and implemented customized solutions for co-operative banks and financial corporations, facilitating transactions and flexible reporting.

In 2018, Ashutosh joined the NATIONAL INFORMATICS CENTRE SERVICES INCORPORATED (NICSI) as a Senior Manager, where they continued to gain expertise in data analytics and visualization tools, working on projects across various government schemes and sectors.

In 2020, Ashutosh took on the role of Deputy General Manager at NICSI, focusing on executing multiple analytics projects and exploring visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, and more.

Currently, Ashutosh is employed at the National Informatics Center as the Director of IT (Scientist E). In this role, they work on harmonizing digital footprints in government through web technologies, generative AI, and database and information management guidelines. Ashutosh also oversees the execution and guidance of data analytics projects for eGovernance solutions and has been involved in the conceptualization and implementation of Project PRAYAS.
