Carrie Armour

Carrie Armour is the founder and principal of Armour Advocacy, LLC, established in 2016, where the firm focuses on advancing the business and public policy objectives of its corporate and organizational clients through comprehensive advocacy management. In addition to leading their consulting firm, Carrie serves on the boards of the Association of Cannabis Specialists and the Medical Cannabis Research Advocacy Alliance, and holds the position of Director for Illinois Women in Cannabis. Prior to these roles, Carrie worked as a Senior Legislative Attorney at the American Medical Association from 2004 to 2016, providing strategic support on various public health issues, and as an Assistant State's Attorney at the Cook County State's Attorney's Office from 1991 to 1996. Carrie holds a JD from Loyola University Chicago School of Law and a BA in Political Science and Government from Miami University.
