Phil Wagner

Phil Wagner has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Phil began their career as an Audit Senior at KPMG in 1980 and worked there until 1983. Phil then joined Essex Company as a Controller from 1988 to 1991. Phil went on to work at Dispatch Communications/Nextel as a Regional Controller from 1991 to 1994, and then at Horizon Cellular as a Regional Controller from 1994 to 1997. Phil then joined Dobson Communications as a Director (various) from 1997 to 2007. Phil served as the Controller at The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore from 2008 to 2010, and then as the Chief Financial Officer at Liberty Towers from 2010 to 2011. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President of Finance at the Association of Zoos and Aquariums since December 2011.

Phil Wagner attended Calvert Hall College High School from 1972 to 1976. Following that, they attended Loyola University Maryland from 1976 to 1980, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Accounting.
