Mike Schmitz has over 20 years of work experience. In 2007, they began working as an Application Security Practice Manager and Security Engineer at AsTech Consulting. From 2000 to 2007, they were the Owner of Sourcewise Data Engineering and an Enterprise Architect at Wells Fargo. From 1997 to 2000, they were the VP E-Business and a Software Engineering Consultant at The Money Store.

Mike Schmitz attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1982 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business/Computer Science.
