Adam Pearson

Adam Pearson serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Astellas Pharma since April 2005, contributing to the Executive Committee with a focus on corporate and R&D strategy, transformation, business development, and patient centricity among other areas. Prior roles at Astellas include EVP and Head of Corporate Strategy, as well as managing director for the UK commercial affiliate. Adam has a wealth of experience in regional management and strategic leadership across EMEA, having held various senior positions including Regional SVP North Europe and General Manager for multiple regions. Previous employment includes roles at Yamanouchi and The Boston Consulting Group, with a foundation in new product planning at ALZA Corporation. Adam holds an MBA from Stanford University and a BA in Philosophy, Politics & Economics from the University of Oxford.
