Katsuyoshi Sugita

Katsuyoshi Sugita is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in human resources and organizational leadership across globally recognized companies. Currently serving as the Representative Director and Executive Vice President at Astellas Pharma since May 2021, Katsuyoshi leads strategic decision-making and ensures compliance while fostering stakeholder relationships. Previous roles include Chief People Officer and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer at Astellas Pharma, and Head of Human Resources positions at Microsoft, AstraZeneca, Hilti Group, and Johnson & Johnson. Notably, Katsuyoshi received the 2018 Circle of Excellence Platinum Club Award at Microsoft for outstanding contributions.
