Robert DuRall has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Robert began their career as an Engineering Technician at Anixter, where they conducted testing and developed software for cable television components. Robert then transitioned to Honeywell, where they worked as a Product Support Technician, specializing in avionics repair. After that, they joined Geo Research as an Engineering Technician, providing customer support and performing prototype building. Robert then worked as an Avionics Technician at Corporate Air and Western Aircraft, before becoming a Product Support Manager at Chelton Flight Systems. In this role, they developed and managed the Product Support Department and provided field support. Following that, they served as the OEM and Fleet Customer Support Manager at Genesys Aerosystems, overseeing a Field Services Department and managing the Call Center. Robert also developed training modules and product support plans. Most recently, they worked as a Contract Systems Engineer at Doorway Projects, and is currently employed as a Customer Engineer at Astronautics Corporation of America.

Robert DuRall completed their Associate of Applied Science degree in Digital Computer Electronics from North Seattle College from 1983 to 1986. Prior to that, they studied US Navy Avionics at the US Navy in 1982-1983. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Amateur Extra Radio Operator Class License from the Federal Communications Commission in March 2023. Robert also received certifications such as DroneDeploy Fundamentals from DroneDeploy in February 2022, Remote Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration in October 2021, and Introduction to Cybersecurity from Cisco in September 2020.
