About this role:

As a Service Delivery Manager (SDM), you will bridge the gap between our clients and internal teams to ensure the seamless delivery of solutions and services. You will be critical in driving customer success, leveraging your technical expertise in Astronomer Airflow and exceptional project management skills. This position combines strategic client relationship management, operational excellence, and technical know-how to deliver measurable results and elevate client satisfaction.

What you get to do:

Service Delivery & Customer Success:

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and contractual agreements.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, advocating for their organizational needs.
  • Conduct regular client reviews to assess satisfaction, identify new opportunities, and promote value-driven solutions.
  • Monitor and report on service performance metrics, implementing improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • Familiarity with Airflow preferred.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Stay abreast of Airflow-related advancements to provide cutting-edge insights to customers.
  • Oversee project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful execution and delivery.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to align solutions with client objectives.
  • Proactively manage risks and resolve escalations, ensuring smooth project completion.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and service expansion.
  • Regularly communicate client success stories and metrics to leadership.

What you bring to the role:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years in customer-facing or consulting roles within the tech industry
  • Proven experience in service delivery management, customer success, or a related role.
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies).
  • Demonstrated success managing software deployments or data-related projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Preferred technical background.
  • Certifications in project management (e.g., ITIL, PMP, PRINCE2) or relevant technical domains.
  • Awareness of Astronomer Airflow or similar data orchestration tools.

The estimated salary for this role ranges from $130,000 - $160,000 based on leveling and geography, along with an equity component and a comprehensive benefits package. This range is merely an estimate; actual compensation may deviate from this range based on skills, experience, and qualifications.
