Scott Gaffield

Scott Gaffield is an accomplished legal professional with a diverse background in sports marketing, corporate law, and business affairs. Currently serving as General Counsel and Coaching Agent at Athletes First since April 2018, Scott brings extensive experience from prior roles, including Senior Counsel and Director of Business Affairs for Sports Marketing at Under Armour, where significant partnerships, such as the MLB Uniform deal, were negotiated. As Assistant General Counsel at Octagon, Scott was instrumental in high-profile endorsements, including those for Stephen Curry and Michael Phelps, and contributed to the establishment of major tennis tournaments. Scott's foundational legal training was honed as an Associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, where expertise in complex commercial transactions was developed. Scott holds a BA in History from Yale University and a JD from UCLA School of Law.
