Rafael Herrera

Rafael Herrera has a diverse background in financial planning and analysis, controlling, and management control analysis. Rafael started their career as a Credit Risk Analyst at Corp Banca in 1998, assessing credit risk for corporate companies and providing guidance to business executives. Rafael then worked as a Bank Executive in the Factoring department, developing client portfolios and closing deals with new companies. In 2002, they became a Planning and Management Control Analyst at Corp Banca, where they coordinated budget and controlling processes and was responsible for investor relations. From 2008 to 2011, they worked at Thyssenkrupp Elevadores as a Management Control Analyst, providing controlling and strategic support to management. Rafael later became the Regional Reporting Coordinator and, eventually, the Controller for Latin America, leading a team of 6 people and ensuring compliance with financial standards. In 2018, they joined Atlas Renewable Energy as the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, where they monitored the financial and operational performance of the project portfolio. Rafael has a strong track record in financial analysis, reporting, and strategic planning.

Rafael Herrera began their education at Saint George's College in 1978 and completed their elementary, middle, and high school education there in 1990. Rafael then enrolled at Universidad Diego Portales in 1992 and graduated in 1997 with a degree in Comercial Engineering, specializing in Business Administration. Afterward, they pursued further education at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile from 2005 to 2007, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A) degree.
