Maurizio Fazio

Maurizio Fazio is an Associate at Atlas Venture. Prior to joining Atlas Venture, Maurizio Fazio was a Fellow at Flagship Pioneering from June 2020 to August 2020. Maurizio has also been a Fellow at Vida Ventures, LLC from October 2019 to May 2020, and a VP of Clinical Outreach at Sling Health from December 2016 to October 2017. In addition, Maurizio was an Education Innovation Fellow - HILT Operation Impact at Harvard University from August 2015 to May 2020. Finally, Maurizio was a Research Fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center from September 2013 to June 2014 and an Intern at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center from March 2013 to April 2013. Maurizio is currently a PhD Candidate at Boston Children's Hospital and has been since August 2015.

Maurizio Fazio has a PhD in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from Harvard University, an MD from Libera Università Vita-Salute San Raffaele, and has completed a Lab to Market field course and the Translational Medicine Program at Harvard Medical School. Maurizio is also a member of the Harvard Graduate Business Club and has completed a mini-MBA program at Harvard Business School.
