Pooya Karimian

Pooya Karimian is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for Growth at Linktree and an advisor at Attesto since early 2023, Pooya previously worked at Meta from December 2013 to October 2022, contributing to projects in Business Messaging, Video In-stream Ads, Messenger Rooms, and Real-Time Infrastructure. Pooya was also a Senior Software Developer at Sencha, Inc., where involvement included cloud services, and held positions as Lead Frontend Developer at Zite, Inc., where Pooya contributed significantly to the Zite Personalized Magazine app, and Senior Web Developer at Worio, focusing on web frontend and browser plugins. Pooya's career began as a Developer at Sxip Identity, and as Co-Founder of GHASEDAK SAMANEH, developing ISP accounting software. Pooya holds an MSc. in Computer Science from Simon Fraser University and a BSc. in Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
