Diane Sutherland

Diane Sutherland has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Diane began their career at Premier Farnell as an Executive Assistant before moving on to PRF as a Project Manager. At GE Capital, Diane held multiple positions, including Internal Communications Leader and Acting Marketing Leader. Diane then joined General Electric as the New Zealand Communications Leader. After a period of parental leave, Diane worked at Auckland Council in several roles, including Manager of Internal Communication, Integration Lead - Culture & Leadership, Principal Communications Advisor, Head of Communications City Centre and Urban Growth, and Head of Urban Development Communications & Marketing. Throughout their career, Diane has demonstrated skills in leadership, strategic communications, and stakeholder management.

From 1993 to 1996, Diane Sutherland studied at the University of Waikato and obtained a Bachelor of Social Science (BSocSc) degree.
