Tom Wood

Tom Wood possesses a robust background in operations and engineering, with significant leadership experience across various industries. Currently serving as the Director of Operations at Austin Elements Inc., Tom has previously held key positions such as Cathode Manufacturing Leader at Tesla and Beaumont Site Operations Manager at Lucite International. Additionally, Tom's tenure at The Dow Chemical Company included multiple roles, including Production Leader for both Emulsions Plant and Specialty Batch Silicones, as well as Sr. Operations Leader in Light Hydrocarbons II. Tom began a career as a Nuclear Engineer at Naval Reactors, Naval Sea Systems Command. Tom holds a Master's degree in Engineering Science with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University.
