Wendy Hubbard

Wendy Hubbard is the current General Manager at Australian Regional and Remote Community Services Ltd. Prior to this, they were the Cluster General Manager - Bega Valley at Southern NSW LHD from February 2017 to July 2019. Wendy has also held the position of Executive Director (Sub-acute and Community) | Chief Allied Health Officer at Ballarat Health Services from July 2007 to December 2016. In this role, they were responsible for operational aspects of Sub-Acute Services, Community Programs, Dental Services, 130 Allied Health Professionals (AHP), and State Wide Equipment Program (SWEP). Wendy was also responsible for legislative compliance across the Ballarat Health Services.

During their time at Ballarat Health Services, Wendy led the transition of the 26 centres to the new SWEP and developed a registration and credentialing system for prescribers. Wendy also commissioning a web-site. Wendy successfully overhauled the equipment prescription process and reduced failed script costs; the system is now recognised and cited Australia wide. Furthermore, they oversaw attainment of KPIs in all programs; consistently meeting targets while maintaining service quality through the provision of timely information on performance at personal, program and organisational level. Wendy also delivered profitable strategic revenue sourcing and management; identifying and implementing methods to increase program revenues.

In addition, Wendy developed and implemented a Legislative Compliance framework; including the use of the Advent Manager compliance software to monitor and report current legislative requirements. Wendy introduced a robust audit process.

Wendy Hubbard has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Ballarat, a Graduate Certificate in Corporate Management from Deakin University, and a Masters of Applied Science in Human Movement from the University of Ballarat. Wendy also has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy from Lincoln Institute of Health Sciences.
