Steve South

Steve South has extensive experience in production and operations management within the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as Production Manager UK at Autins Group plc since October 2019, Steve previously held the position of Operations Manager at RTI International Metals and Arconic from April 2006 to July 2019, overseeing operations in a $110M turnover facility for Titanium Mill products. Prior roles include Lean Manufacturing Manager at Federal Mogul Sintered Products LTD, where responsibilities involved waste reduction and continuous improvement initiatives, and Business Unit Manager at Federal Mogul Sintered Products, managing key operational metrics for automotive engine components. Steve's career began in production roles at Federal-Mogul from 1982 to 1989. Educationally, Steve holds an MSc in Lean Operations from Cardiff Business School and an HNC in Mechanical Engineering from Coventry Technical College.
