Kefan Hu has had a varied and extensive work experience since 2009. In 2009, they were a Student Intern (Metal Practice) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Millwright (Intern) at Grenzebach Corporation. In 2010, they worked as an Engineer Assistant (Intern) at Grenzebach Corporation. From 2011 to 2014, they were an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Shanghai Jiao Tong University and a Grader of AME532a and Laboratory Assistant at the University of Southern California. From 2014 to 2018, they were a Lead Engineer at ACTON, where they were responsible for mechanical/electrical system integration, motors, BLDC control systems, RF systems, Bluetooth, sensors (IMU), firmware programming (TI/STM), ME design, plastic/aluminum/steel pressure molds, forging, CNC, and sheet metal. In 2018, they became a Senior Mechanical Engineer at AutoX.ai.
Kefan Hu obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University between 2008 and 2012. Kefan then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MS) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southern California between 2012 and 2014.
