Richard Rogers

Richard Rogers has a diverse work experience in the technology and healthcare industries. Richard started their career at IBM in 2008 as a Software Developer and Program Lead, where they focused on promoting technical standards and created demonstrations with partners. Richard later transitioned to a Product Manager role, launching a new healthcare analytics and care management product. In 2015, Richard joined the Enterprise Architecture team at IBM, supporting the technical integration of acquired companies' products. Richard also served as a Technical Solutions Architect, driving solution architecture for multiple platforms. In 2022, Richard joined Merative as a Technical Solutions Architect, leading the architecture of a healthcare claims analytics product suite. Currently, they are a Principal Architect at Availity, where they continue to utilize their expertise in architecture and provide direction for the engineering team.

Richard Rogers holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Siena College. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications in various fields such as security, compliance, and identity fundamentals from Microsoft, architectural thinking from IBM, and enterprise design thinking practitioner from IBM. Richard also holds certifications in IT Specialist (Expert level) from The Open Group, Certified Professional Healthcare Information Systems from HIMSS, and HL7 Clinical Document Architecture from HL7. Richard has also obtained certifications from IBM in areas such as business analysis and design, service-oriented architecture solution designer, and Plateau IBM Patents and Invention Program. Richard is also a certified PMC Level III from Pragmatic Institute and has received Pragmatic Marketing Certification - III from Pragmatic Marketing.
