Tim Scott

Tim Scott is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the aviation industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President - Technical at AVITAS since January 2013, Tim also held the position of Vice President - Technical Services. Prior to AVITAS, Tim worked at AerCap as Vice President - Technical for The Americas from April 2008 to January 2013. Tim's career began at Delta Air Lines, where a range of roles was held from 1991 to March 2008, including Manager - Aircraft Acquisition & Sales and B767 Principal Engineer. Tim's early experience includes positions at General Dynamics as a Test Engineer and a Research Assistant at Oklahoma State University. Tim holds an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Fluid Dynamics and Aerospace from Oklahoma State University.
