Amber Foreman McIpr

Amber Foreman MCIPR is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in corporate communications, media relations, and marketing. From 2018 to present, they have served as the Head of Corporate Communications at Avon Fire & Rescue Service, where they developed and implemented a comprehensive communications and marketing strategy to meet the needs of key stakeholders and achieve organizational objectives. Prior to this role, Amber worked as a Media and PR Officer at Avon & Somerset Police & Crime Commissioner from 2013 to 2018, providing support for communications planning, stakeholder engagement, and marketing activities. Before joining the Police & Crime Commissioner's office, they held positions at Avon and Somerset Police Authority as a Community Policing Awards Co-ordinator / Admin Officer / Committee Support from 2011 to 2013, and at Avon and Somerset Constabulary as an Awards and Events Co-ordinator from 2010 to 2011. Throughout their career, Amber has demonstrated their ability to lead promotional campaigns, manage teams, and effectively communicate with diverse audiences through various channels, including print, media, events, and online platforms.

Amber Foreman MCIPR earned a BA (Hons) degree in Marketing from the University of the West of England, completing their studies from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications to enhance their professional development, including an ILM Level 5 Leadership and Management certification from Weston College in November 2021. In January 2021, they completed the Strategic Leadership Programme offered by In Professional Development. Amber was also recognized as a Finalist for the Outstanding Young Communicator award by the CIPR - Chartered Institute of Public Relations in November 2015. In April 2014, they became an Accredited Practitioner of the CIPR, and in April 2013, they attained the membership of MCIPR from the CIPR.
