Sophie D. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Sophie has worked at Aware Super since 2019, starting as an HR Administrator before progressing to become an HR Operations Coordinator. Currently, they hold the position of Team Leader People Advisory.

In 2021, Sophie also volunteered at Lort Smith. Prior to these positions, Sophie founded Anuyu Female Fitness in 2016, where they served as a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor until 2021. Sophie D. began their education in 2007 at South East Essex College, where they completed their A Levels. In 2009, they attended the University of the West of England and obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree in Law, which they completed in 2012. In 2014, Sophie pursued their interest in health and physical education/fitness by enrolling at Premier International Training, where they earned certifications in Cert III Gym Instruction and Cert IV Personal Training. Additionally, in 2014, they obtained a Certificate IV/Diploma in Personal Training from Fitness Australia. Sophie also holds a Certificate III in Fitness/Gym Instructing from Fitness Australia.
