Jennifer Lau

Jennifer Lau has worked in a variety of roles in the scientific field. Jennifer began their career in 2008 as a Co-op Student at Maxxam Analytics. In 2010, they worked as a Summer Research Student at the Child and Family Research Institute. From 2011-2017, they worked as a Co-op Student at Tekmira Pharmaceutical Corporation and a PhD Candidate at McMaster University. Most recently, they have been a Research Scientist at Finch Therapeutics since 2017 and will be taking on the role of Principal Scientist at Axial Therapeutics, Inc. in 2022.

Jennifer Lau attended McMaster University from 2011 to 2017, where they obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry & Biomedical Sciences. Prior to that, they attended the University of Victoria from 2006 to 2011 and received their Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Co-op.
