Danny Sandoval

Danny Sandoval has extensive experience in software quality engineering and digital quality assurance. Danny is currently the Director of Software Quality Engineering at AXS since March 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Digital Quality Assurance at Beachbody from April 2019 to March 2020. Before that, they were the Sr. QA Manager - Digital at Beachbody from April 2017 to April 2019, and previously the QA Manager - Digital from July 2015 to April 2017.

Before their time at Beachbody, Danny worked at DIRECTV, where they held various positions. Danny was the Mobile QA Supervisor from May 2012 to July 2015, responsible for research and analysis on mobile applications and introducing innovative solutions for sports-related mobile initiatives. Prior to that, they were the Sr. Quality Assurance Analyst from October 2010 to May 2012, leading testing teams for mobile releases and conducting user acceptance testing. Danny also served as a Quality Assurance Analyst from June 2010 to October 2010, creating test plans and reports for capital projects.

Earlier in their career, Danny worked at EA Mobile as a Studio to Launch Floor Lead from May 2009 to June 2010. Danny introduced agile planning and advanced quality assurance methodologies for overseas studios. Danny also worked at Activision as a Quality Assurance Analyst, testing titles such as Guitar Hero: Smash for Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii from February 2009 to May 2009.

Danny started their career at EA Mobile as a Quality Assurance Analyst from September 2007 to February 2009, testing sports department solutions and implementing new reporting standards. Danny specialized in testing BREW/J2ME applications for various handsets and targeted carriers.

Danny Sandoval obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Game Art and Design from Westwood College, where they attended from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These include "Balancing Multiple Roles as a Leader," "Coaching Skills for Leaders and Managers," and "Managing Organizational Change for Managers," all from Lynda.com, which they obtained in August 2018. Danny also holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in September 2013.
