Faig Mutallimov

Faig Mutallimov has extensive experience in environmental management and policy, currently serving as the Head of the Environmental Policy Division at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources since September 2013. Faig's roles have included leadership positions within water resource management, international cooperation, and aquatic bioresource protection. Additionally, Faig serves on the Supervisory Board of "AzerGold" CJSC and holds multiple national focal points for international environmental initiatives, including the EU4Environment programme and the Tehran Convention. Faig's involvement with international organizations, such as the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, reflects a strong commitment to environmental policy. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Public Administration and Environmental Protection, alongside ongoing studies in Strategic Studies and State Defense Management.
