Amanda Kerr is a highly experienced engineer currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer at BAE Systems, Inc. since January 2023. Previously, Amanda has held the position of Principal Process Engineer at Raytheon Technologies since February 2014, specializing in III-V and III-Nitride wafer foundry processes, with a focus on metals and dielectrics deposition. Amanda's earlier roles include Graduate Student Researcher at UC San Diego, where research concentrated on semiconductor surface science, and Electrical Engineer at Raytheon Technologies, focusing on material growth and characterization in a Molecular Beam Epitaxy group. Amanda holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UC San Diego and a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Michigan.
