Mark Denney currently serves as Of Counsel at Baird Mandalas Brockstedt & Federico LLC since August 2023. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of Special Assistant United States Attorney at the United States Attorneys' Office for the District of Delaware. Mark also served as the Director of the Division of Civil Rights and Public Trust at the Delaware Department of Justice from April 2020 to August 2023. Mark's extensive experience within the Delaware Department of Justice includes roles as Deputy Attorney General, Homicide Unit Prosecutor, Wilmington Felony Trial Unit Head, and Assistant Unit Head for both the Wilmington and New Castle County Felony Trial Units. Mark began professional legal experience as a Judicial Intern for The Honorable Kent A. Jordan at the United States District Court for the District of Delaware. Mark earned a Doctor of Law degree from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations and Political Science from Saint Joseph's University. Academic background also includes attendance at Salesianum School.
