Noam Zontag is a skilled research economist currently employed at the Bank of Israel since February 2022. Prior to this role, Noam Zontag worked at the Taub Center from 2018 to February 2022, focusing on economic studies in public policy using econometric and statistical methods. Noam Zontag has also held positions as a business analyst and marketing research analyst at Geocartography Knowledge Group from 2016 to 2018 and as a researcher and economist at the Shoresh Institution for Economic Research from 2015 to 2016. Additional experience includes serving as a teaching assistant at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for an econometrics course and as an economist at Halman Aldubi Investment House and the Council for Higher Education. Noam Zontag holds a Master’s Degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics & International Relations, both from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
