Shana Hammond-Adler is the Vice President of Capture and Proposal. She is responsible for leading B&A’s capture management and proposal development efforts with an emphasis on contributing to the organization’s business development and growth objectives. She also oversees all marketing initiatives ensuring alignment to B&A’s strategic plan. Shana brings over 20 years of experience in Federal government contracting and possesses a wide range of skills to execute high-level initiatives, in both large and small business environments.
Over the last decade, Shana has focused on supporting the full business development lifecycle for Federal and commercial accounts. She combines exceptional analytical and market research skills to develop a robust pipeline of opportunities. Through her implementation of business processes, she has helped transform and improve organizational performance and operational effectiveness. As a trained appraiser, she was an integral piece to B&A achieving its appraisal at CMMI Level 3.
Shana is a registered advocate for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) by being an active voice to help make changes to Federal legislation and policies that can save lives. As a member of the AFSP National Capital Area chapter, Shana serves on the Volunteer Committee for the ‘Out of the Darkness’ Walks to raise awareness about suicide prevention.
