Jennifer Barros currently serves as the Brazil Program Manager at Bat Conservation International, leading cave conservation initiatives in Brazil and supporting projects throughout Latin America. Previous experience includes roles as Senior Biodiversity Consultant and Project Manager at BE Bioinsight & Ecoa, and Biologist at Carste Ciência e Meio Ambiente, where Jennifer focused on monitoring and rescuing bats in subterranean cavities. Additional expertise encompasses environmental analysis at Ecossistema Consultoria Ambiental, internships at Instituto Ambiental do Paraná and Secretaria Municipal do Meio Ambiente de Curitiba, and academic research on bat species at UFPR. Jennifer holds multiple degrees in the life sciences, including a Ph.D. in Zoology and ongoing postdoctoral research at the University of Konstanz.
