Dave Clute

Dave Clute has over 30 years of experience in various quality engineering roles. Dave currently works as a Principal Quality Engineer at Battelle, where they integrate quality assurance into projects and operations. Prior to this, Dave worked as a Quality Engineer at MAETRICS - Contract @ Cardinal Health - Fuse Division, where they oversaw software and hardware design control. Dave also worked as a Quality Engineer at Aerotek - Contract @ Battelle Memorial Institute, updating their Quality System to meet ISO standards. Dave spent a significant portion of their career at Smiths Medical, holding positions such as Quality Systems Manager and Quality Engineering Manager. Dave began their career as a Quality Technician at Linvatec and also worked in production and testing roles at Westinghouse Digital Electronics and Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. Dave has a strong background in quality assurance and has contributed to the development and implementation of quality management systems.

Dave Clute attended Franklin University from 2010 to 2016 where they pursued a BS in Management with a field of study in Business Administration and Management. Prior to that, they attended River Valley Community College in 2008, where they received training in Six Sigma Black Belt and Six Sigma Champion. In 2006 and 2007, Dave attended Hult Ashridge for Executive Management. Their earlier education includes a degree in Associate of Science - AS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tampa Technical Institute, which they completed from 1986 to 1988. Dave also holds a certification as an ASQ - Certified Mechanical Inspector from ASQ.
