Julian Traut

Julian Traut, PhD, serves as the Deputy Head of Department at the Bavarian State Chancellery since March 2019, focusing on public relations coordination for the Bavarian government and overseeing various publicity projects and budgets. Prior to this role, Julian Traut worked as a press officer and marketing manager at the Bavarian State Ministry of Education, Science and the Arts, and held editorial positions at Playboy Enterprises and BMW Group. With a research background at Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich, Julian Traut holds a PhD in History and Political Science and a Master's degree in History, Politics, and Law along with language qualifications in Italian, French, and English.
