Susan Cook, Ph.D., ACC, serves as the Director of Institutional Research at Buckingham Browne & Nichols School since July 2020, focusing on evidence-based policy development through comprehensive research methodologies. Previously, Susan held significant roles at Harvard University, including Project Manager for Cultural Initiatives, where efforts centered on enhancing diversity and inclusion across the Social Science and Arts & Humanities Divisions, and as Executive Director of the Center for African Studies, overseeing a substantial portfolio of programs and budgetary responsibilities. Earlier experience includes the establishment of a Research and Planning Department at the Royal Bafokeng Administration, as an Associate Professor at the University of Pretoria, contributions to the Watson Institute for International and Public Affairs, leadership of the Cambodian Genocide Program at Yale University, and proposal writing for the Close Up Foundation. Educational achievements include a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Yale University and a BA in Literature & Society from Brown University.
