Matthew Cretney

Matthew Cretney has extensive experience in the financial industry, starting in 1998 at Reuters. Matthew held various roles, including Technical Project Manager and Head of Hosted Services. Later, they worked at Thomson Reuters as the Head of Infrastructure Strategy, focusing on migrating FX products to a hybrid virtualised/co-located model. Matthew then moved to Refinitiv as the Head of Venues & Market Data Distribution, managing a team of 200. Currently, they are the Head Of Product Management at Beeks Financial Cloud.

Matthew Cretney completed their BA in English Literature at the University of Exeter from 1994 to 1997. Matthew then pursued an MSc in Computer Science at UCL from 1997 to 1998. In 2019, they obtained a certification as a Corvil Certified Expert from Corvil. Additionally, they also attended ACI Forex Dealing at an unspecified time.
