Darlene Roberts has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Darlene started their career in 1995 as a Multimedia Developer at Information Technology Solutions, Inc., where they designed and developed interactive multimedia computer applications and training courseware. Darlene then worked as a Junior Analyst at CSC, where they created movies and edited manuals for web-based multimedia logistics systems training applications.

In 2003, Darlene joined CACI International Inc as a Designer/Illustrator, where they created web-based graphics and developed storyboards for training materials. From 2005 to 2006, they worked as a Logistics Analyst at Paradigm Technologies, Inc., performing various tasks related to government contracts and assisting other writers and editors.

Darlene's work experience also includes roles at Richard Bland College, where they served as a Network Administrator and Computer Operations Tech II. Darlene'sresponsibilities included evaluating new network hardware and software, improving network security and reliability, and providing technical support to users.

Currently, Darlene holds the position of Vice President / IT Manager at Benchmark Community Bank. In their role, they manage IT operations, including helpdesk management and computer support.

Darlene Roberts has a diverse education history. In 1979, they attended Brunswick Academy and continued their education there until 1992. In 2006, they enrolled at Southside Virginia Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Science, completing it in 2007. In more recent years, Darlene has engaged in professional development certifications. In 2021, they attended the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison for Bank Technology Security School. In the same year, they obtained the CB Vendor Manager - CBVM Certification V3 from SBS CyberSecurity. In 2022, they returned to the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin - Madison to complete the Bank Technology Management School. Additionally, in 2018, they earned the CB Security Technology Professional - CBSTP Certification from SBS CyberSecurity. Darlene'searliest certification, Microcomputer Office Automation, was conferred by Central Virginia Community College in 1995.
