Tonya Ehlmann

Tonya Ehlmann serves as the Vice President of Research and Development for Breeding and CropOS at Benson Hill, where leadership includes overseeing the Gene Editing Pipeline and the Food System Innovators program. Previously, Tonya held several key positions at Object Computing, Inc., focusing on AI/ML strategy and business development, and directed significant AI/ML initiatives impacting Fortune 500 companies. Tonya's expertise includes spearheading advanced projects at The Climate Corporation in seed placement science and possesses extensive experience at Monsanto Company, where impactful innovations in R&D breeding and product development were achieved. Tonya’s academic credentials include an MBA from Maryville University of Saint Louis and a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
